Delicious but unhealthy food is what we think when talking about fast food. In 2014, a project that was able to break this stereotype entered the Russian market: it was "Mr. Pit" healthy fast food network.
The startup was a counterpart to PitaPit, famous in North America and Europe, and had practically no competitors in Russia.
A low-calorie unleavened flat cake made with wheat flour was filled with a choice of meat and vegetables. Despite the fact that the dish was unknown for Russian consumers, it quickly gained popularity.
According to Afisha.ru, Mr. Pit was one of the best healthy food restaurants in Moscow; Moscow School of Management Skolkovo acknowledged the project as an entrepreneurial breakthrough of the year and the best environmental start-up.
